The Kenyan independent electoral and boundaries commission chairman, Issack Hassan, was questioned by the ethics and anti-corruption commission over the Chickengate scandal. Hassan is the latest electoral official to be summoned after the EACC opened fresh investigations into bribery claims against former electoral commission officials. The bribes were allegedly given by the U.K-based firm Smith and Ouzman in a contract for supply of electoral materials.
