Deputy President William Ruto today met with political leaders from Western Kenya in what appeared a mission to rope them in to support the newly formed jubilee party. The deputy president asked the leaders, among them Bungoma governor Ken Lusaka, to join in the campaign saying it aimed at bringing to an end what he referred to as ‘an era of ethnic balkanization and regional political parties’.
