An oil spillage at Kibwezi in Makueni county which was exclusively exposed by ktn news has for the third week now continued to draw sharp reactions. The senate committee on energy which had toured the affected areas has now demanded that children living within the vicinity of the oil spill must be screened for possible poisoning. The committee chaired by Baringo senator Gideon Moi further warned that allthe affected residents must be adequately compensated.
