The Stanlib Fahari Income Reit to be listed on the Nairobi securities exchange

4th November, 2015

Arrangers of Kenya’s first real estate investment trust are optimistic of a successful issue as they tap into Kenya’s desire to tap the lucrative real estate market. The Stanlib Fahari Income Reit, which will be listed on the Nairobi securities exchange on November 22nd, seeks to raise between 2.5 and 12.5 billion shillings that will be used to purchase income generating properties around the country. Investors will benefit from a semi-annual dividend generated from the properties. KTN’s Michael Karanja sat down with Stanlib’s regional director to get his take on investment grade property in the country. Watch KTN Live http://www.ktnkenya.tv/live
