Chase bank receives sh1.2 billion financing from the French Development Agency (FDA)

Chase bank has received sh1.2 billion financing from the French Development Agency (FDA) that will be used to fund renewable energy projects in the country. Specifically, chase bank will use the credit facility for onward lending to businesses that wish to invest in renewable energy technologies projects such as small hydro, biomass, biogas, solar, and geothermal power. The deal comes days after the African Development Bank (AFDB) extended a sh5 billion to the bank targeted at SMES.
