African Union wants William Ruto President Omar Al Bashir’s ICC cases placed before UNSC

The African Union now wants the deferral agenda of the ICC cases against Deputy President William Ruto and Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir at the International Criminal Court placed before the United Nations Security Council. The AU through a committee on the ICC, wants the cases deferred until Africa's proposed amendments to the Rome are amended. The request for deferral will be made to the United Nations Security council by the African Union Chairperson, Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe.
