Police have arrested 3 men for allegedly trying to sneak a bomb wrapped in a polythene bag into the Garden City Mall, a shopping mall in Nairobi’s Thika road area. Police say the bomb was safely detonated. The mall considered to be the largest in the region houses 120 local and international brands. Security officers evacuate shoppers and working staff safely. Police said one suspect tried to pass security but upon inspection, was found to be carrying the gadget in a bag. Two of his accomplices were also arrested.
