Political scientist Mutahi Ngunyi has pledged a goat to the Luo council of elders as a peace offering to the Luo community. Ngunyi came under sharp criticism for his comments posted on twitter which were regarded as hate speech targeted at the Luos. He was speaking after being grilled by the national cohesion and integration commission in Nairobi.
