ODM Party against December election date and extension of deadline for bills
18th August, 2015
Opposition party ODM will not support the December election date and the same time will oppose extension of the 27th of August deadline for bills that have a five year implementation period after the enactment of the new constitution.
Party leader Raila Odinga says it is the failure of jubilee government to have the bills ready saying the delay is a political tactic by the Uhuru government to sabotage implementation of the constitution. These were part of their resolutions after a two day retreat in Machakos county.
