IG Joseph Boinett orders 10,000 recruits to report to training camp

In just 6 days, fresh recruits in the national police service will report to their respective training stations. Inspector general Joseph Boinett said in a statement that the move is in compliance to the presidents’ directive, to have 10,000 recruits join the police service immediately. Those recruited to join the General service unit will be headed to the training school in Embakasi, the future administration police officers are also headed to Embakassi and those selected to join the Kenya police service will be going to Kiganjo. President uhuru kenyatta ordered the absorption of the 10,000 new police recruits following the Garissa university siege sighting thin staff as a major reason Kenya is so vulnerable to outside attacks.
