Faced with a choice between a 56 kilometre road trip and 35 metres across the River Nzoia; many locals from Kakamega and Bungoma would rather take risks crossing the Nzoia. But here’s the twist; they are not crossing over a bridge or using a ferry or boats. The mode of transport, believe it or not, is an inflated tyre tube.
