Mystery surrounds the shooting to death of an Imam in Likoni, Mombasa county by unknown assailants yesterday.There was tension when relatives and friends of the deceased arrived at the Coast Provincial General Hospital mortuary to collect the body of the slain imam for burial. Police refused to grant them access to the body until a post mortem exam on the body was carried out. Relatives and a civil society group , Haki Africa said Imam Juma Ali Mwamdigoe was shot at a construction site where he was working .
