President Uhuru condemns teargasing of Lang'ata Primary School pupils

21st January, 2015

Police lobbed tear gas canisters at 6 to 13 year old pupils of the langata road primary school who were protesting the alleged grabbing of their playground by a private developer. At least three pupils were injured in the ensuing chaos that also left one policeman with injuries and two activists arrested. The acting Inspector General of police Samuel Arachi has suspended the Lang'ataOCPD who was in charge of the operation
