No cause for alarm: The government assures of an Ebola free country

The cabinet secretary for health James Macharia laid his ministry’s contingency plan for fighting the Ebola viral disease. While presenting the plan to health and transport joint parliamentary committees, the cabinet secretary said the laid strategies will cost the country upto six hundred and seventy million shillings. Part of the strategies include the establishment of an Ebola viral disease task force to oversee Kenya’s prevention measures. It will also strengthen points of entries with stringent detection of potential Ebola patients. And boosting the capacity of health institutions.
