Governors and former presidential aspirants join Cord’s referendum push

The coalition for reforms and democracy today received a major boost to their referendum push. NARC Kenya, Kenya national congress and civil society groups have joined the cord referendum campaign to amend the constitution. Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua made an appearance at the launch of CORD’S Okoa Kenya movement, as cord launched the hunt for a million signatures to have the constitution amended. This came as city lawyer Kethi Kilonzo bolted from the cord committee of experts citing a busy schedule.
