Where ugandan culture meets kenyan cuisine

5th July, 2014

The Kenyan stand at the ongoing Smithsonian folklife festival in Washington was a major attraction as the festival hit the homestretch. A day before the festival comes to a close, the Kenyan stand was a beehive of activity as Americans flocked the venue to sample Kenyan cuisine, music and dance. The two Kenyan ministries of culture and tourism have been keen on using the festival to try and roll back the effects of negative travel advisories by western countries.
