Machakos senator Muthama summoned over hatespeech as CORD terms it a Witch hunt
1st July, 2014
Elsewhere in the city, Machakos senator Johnstone Muthama earlier today recorded a statement with the police over alleged hate speech.
Muthama presented himself at the Kilimani police station following a summons by the police. But the senate minority leader Moses Wetangula who accompanied Muthama dismissed the summons as an attempt to intimidate cord leaders. He vowed that the opposition coalition would not stop talking about issues affecting Kenyans. The Machakos senator is among politicians who were summoned by police following a directive by the director of public prosecutions Keriako Tobiko.
