Mbuvi Ngunze to replace Titus Naikuni as Kenya Airways C.E.O

Mbuvi Ngunze, Kenya airways chief operating officer, has been appointed to head the listed carrier as chief executive officer.
In a statement to newsroom this afternoon KQ chairman Evanson Mwaniki said Ngunze will be assuming office from first of December 2014. He replaces Titus Naikuni, who is expected to retire at the end of november, 2014.
In January this year, the KQboard engaged the services of an international executive search firm spencer Stuart limited, to assist in the process of finding a replacement for Naikuni. Ngunze has served as coo since September 2011. He joined the national carrier from cement-maker Lafarge
