The council of governors has maintained fire brand Bomet governor Isaac Ruto as its chairman for the second year running. Ruto was elected unopposed as Nairobi Governor Evans kidero dropped out of the vice chairmanship race citing work pressure and has been replaced by kwale governor Salim Mvurya.
