The power of trash,Nairobi eyes electricity garbage

Nairobi county government has signed a private partnership deal with a German investor to construct a waste recycling plant in the city. The plant will use the garbage collected from the city to produce between 45 to 70 megawatts of power. The energy sourced from garbage will be supplied to the national grid and address the frequent power outages in the city. But just what will it take to convert Nairobi’s garbage into something useful?
