Shocking statistics on maternal deaths in Kenya

Now to some grim figures and a new report in the country suggests that a Kenyan woman dies every two hours in child birth. The study conducted by leading research institutions also indicates that only 25 per cent of children whose mothers die in those circumstances actually survive.
