Women MPs on health funding that has been reduced from 5.7% to 3.4%

The Kenya women parliamentary association has called on the government to reconsider its national budgetary allocations for health that has been reduced from 5.7% in the previous financial year to 3.4% .the current budgetary policy statement will be presented in the national assembly for debate on Thursday. The cut has denied free maternity services ksh. 1billion and the national gender commission ksh. 40 million.
