Governors skip meeting to review budgets
23rd January, 2014
The senate’s finance committee was today forced to postpone a meeting that was to interrogate how county governments have used budgetary allocations. This is after the chairman of the governor’s council failed to show up. And as ktn’s Patrick Amimo reports, the controller of budget Agnes Odhiambo told the senate’s finance committee that some governors should be investigated over the manner in which they were handling county funds.
