Uhuru urged not to assent to media bill

The president appears to have judged the mood of the country after the massive outcry that followed Thursday’s passage by MPs of the Kenya information and communication amendment bill 2013. The leader of majority in the national assembly Aden Duale opened the debate before the president today, saying attacks directed at the Jubilee governent over the contentious bill are unfair.
