Deputy President William Ruto claims referendum plot is selfish by the opposition Party

The government has clashed with its rival CORD coalition on the push for a referendum to amend the constitution. Deputy President William Ruto has cautioned Jubilee governors to drop the agitation saying the referendum quest is an elaborate plot by the opposition to discredit governors by engaging it in politics rather than development.
