6th August, 2013
It is now emerging that the three companies that bid to provide chartered air services for Deputy President Wiliam Ruto’s tour of four West African nations tender have never filed their annual returns with the registrar of companies.
An administrative secretary in the deputy president’s office Abdul Mwasera told the public accounts committee that the controversial luxury jet was hired for William Ruto from the east Africa development company on the president’s instructions. It cost 18.5 million shillings.
