Kenya marks World press freedom day

Kenya joined the rest of the world in marking the world press freedom day with the standard group ceo sam shollei urging media owners to ensure that safety and security of journalists is given top priority. Shollei observed that though kenya provides a robust environment for journalists to practice compared to other countries in the africa continent, journalists continue to suffer harassment and intimidation especially when they expose corruption and other evils in society.
