It was pomp and colour at this years Burt award ceremony as three young writers from Kenya scooped over 1.7 million shillings in cash prizes for emerging tops from over 400 entries in the prestigious African literature writers competition. Antony Mugo was awarded one million shillings for his overall winning title, never say never, published by Longhon publishers.
