KTB Scandal- EX PS Jailed

Former permanent secretary in the tourism ministry Rebecca Nabutola, and the former managing director of Kenya tourism board Achieng Ongong’a, have been sentenced to four and three years in prison respectively. The two have been found guilty of defrauding the ministry of 8.9 million shillings. A former KTB member and the owner of a tour operating company Duncan Muriuku has also been sentenced to seven years in jail with a 17.8 million shilling fine.
