The mayor of Nakuru municipal council Mohammed Suraw is nursing injuries on the chest, right leg and right hand all courtesy of fracas that ensued on Tuesday during an aborted attempt by councilors to evict him and the town clerk from office. The mayor blames his woes on some councilors whom he claims were frustrated that he was blocking their desire to embezzle the council’s money. Patrick Amimo reports.
