Elgeyo time bomb

The Kenya meteorological department gave a warning early March 2012 on areas expected to receive enhanced rainfall resulting to disasters such as flooding and mudslides. Keiyo and Marakwet regions were among the regions named. One village in Elgeyo-Marakwet County is sitting on a time bomb with cracks that have been expanding for three months now posing a mudslide threat to sixty families in Anin sub location.
