Caroline Kangogo's family speaks after her body was discovered at her home

Police officer Caroline Kangogo who is believed to have killed a male colleague in Nakuru and a man in Juja has been found dead at her parent's home in Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Kangogo was found Friday 16th July 2021 morning in Anin, Keiyo North sub-county. Keiyo North Police Commander Tom Makori told Standard Digital that Kangogo who has been missing since July 5, might have committed suicide.

"The body has a bullet wound and next to her, is a Cesca pistol and a spent cartridge. We are waiting for specialist officers to process the scene," Makori said. The police boss said Kangogo may have arrived at her parent's home last night before shooting herself dead. Kangogo is suspected to have shot dead constable John Ogweno in Nakuru before allegedly killing Peter Ndwiga in Juja. By Stephen Rutto
