Several top government officials from eastern region Escaped death narrowly this morning when the chopper They were travelling in crash-landed in meru county. The officers who included eastern regional commissioner Isaiya nakoru were heading to sololo in Marsabit when the Chopper crash-landed. The officers were on a Peace Mission to Marsabit to reconcile warring communities the Boranas and Somalis. The injured officials were rushed to The Meru level 5 teaching & referral hospital.
