Ugandan authorities release 23 Kenyan herders and businessmen after 21 days forced quarantine

Ugandan authorities have released 23 Kenyan herders and businessmen from the Pokot community, who were detained for 21 days after being arrested at Kenya ?Uganda border amid COVID?19 restrictions. The 23, who were nabbed on 5th May at kokochwai area, along the Kenya ? Uganda border, were received by Kapenguria mp, Samuel Moroto, and lodged complaints of terrible conditions at the Ugandan quarantine facility where they were held. At least 60 Kenyans were being held at the quarantine facility.
