Chiefs in Turkana county risk being sacked if they will not participate in identifying people still carrying illegal guns. Turkana county commissioner Wambuwa Muthama has issued a warning to chiefs who are protecting criminals in possession of ilegal guns. He also gave direction to all local administrators to ensure that children are going to school when schools reopen in January and that parents who will not take their children to school will be arrested.
