The nationwide KDF recruitment exercise ended in Turkana County with the exercise being termed as a success in most parts of the country. However, many regions in Turkana County recorded a low turnout including Kibisha and Kakuma sub?counties. According to the KDF officer in charge lieutenant colonel Aruasa many youths in the entire county had problems of being underweight and thus most of them did not meet the required physical fitness standards. The KDF recruitment exercise started last month in Lamu County and it officially ended in in Turkana County.
