North Rift valley leaders on referendum

A section of leaders from the north rift have supported calls for a referendum maintaining that jubilee party will still beat their opponents in the polls. Speaking during the burial of Hanna Saniaka, mother to former Marakwet west MP Boaz Kaino, Elgeyo Marakwet County, and the leaders said the referendum should benefit all Kenyans and not a few individuals. Elgeyo Marakwet deputy governor Wesley Rotich urged elected jubilee leaders not to shun away from referendum calls urging them to support devolution.
