Four people have died in Mt. Elgon, after consuming what is believed to be poisonous mushroom. The lives of a mother, her nine month old baby, a neighbor and a friend from Uganda lives were cut short after consuming the deadly meal. News that left residents of Chepkube in Mt. Elgon in shock after it emerged that the dead woman had prepared for her family a meal out of the mushroom that she had been given by her Ugandan friend. The mushroom had been sourced from Chebomai forest on the border of Kenya and Uganda.
