Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge smashed the men’s world record as he won the berlin marathon in 2 hours one minute and 40 seconds on Sunday afternoon. Fellow Kenyan Dennis Kimetto had held the previous record since 2014, 2 hours 2 minutes and 57 seconds also set in the berlin marathon but Kipchoge produced a stunning performance to take it by a clear 78 seconds.
