Police in Thika seized 1600 bags stolen from World Food Programme (WFP)

Police in Thika have seized1600 bags of rice and 400 bags of wheat flour belongs said to belong to World Food Programme (WFP). The said consignment which is believed to be relief food was found at the premises of a businessman called Michael Mburu, in Ngoingwa estate. Police have arrested Mburu and 10 of his workers who were found repackaging the rice. The consignment was to be distributed to Tana River County flood victims.
