Embu county assembly health committee has raised a red alert over a looming crisis of doctors and nurses at the Embu level five hospital. The committee members led by the chairman Muturi Mwombo they have raised concerned over inadequate personnel, a factor that has precipitated unnecessary suffering among patients. The committee has cited poor remuneration as a key reason why the facility cannot retain staff. Members were speaking when they made an impromptu visit at the hospital.
