Government spokesman Erick Kiraithe has now defended Chinese employees working at the standard gauge railway against allegations that they have been mistreating their Kenyan counterparts working on the Madaraka Express Train. Kiraithe has condemned employees who have chosen to air their grievances through the media maintaining that challenges of such nature are common in any multiracial setting due to clash of cultures. He has however added that investigations into the revelations have begun and a report will be out soon.
