Timber manufacturers in Nakuru appeal to government to release their goods after logging ban

Saw millers and timber manufacturers in Nakuru have appealed to the government to release their goods and lift ban on private forest. They have incurred massive losses. Their appeal comes even as the government intensified efforts for save forests which are the lifeline for thousands of Kenyans. It also comes at a time when the government placed a ban on logging after deforestation effects became evident
