Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa puts tycoon land grabbers on notice

13th February, 2018

Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa has put land grabbers on notice in her constituency for intimidating poor locals and vowed to deal with them conclusively. Jumwa says tycoons behind land grabbing shall not have peace during her tenure as they were frustrating the locals using their wealth. The legislator condemned the demolition of four rental buildings at Ngalla estate in Malindi town and promised to protect the victims from the cartels who were out to grab their rightfully owned land. She spoke after touring victims who suffered a big blow after security personnel with hired graders demolished rental buildings in a disputed land allegedly belonging to the national housing corporation.
