Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa is expected any minute from now to address a press conference to respond to claims made yesterday by opposition leader Raila Odinga in regards to proposal to construct a water dam at the border of Nakuru and Kericho Counties. Raila said yesterday that a very dangerous dam project is underway and that the water project would devastate not only the water catchment areas of the Mau, but would also turn parts of Bomet, Migori, Nyamira, Kisumu and Kericho Counties into near deserts.
