The government of Germany has expressed concern over escalating enforced disappearances and extrajudicial executions at the coast of Kenya. Germany envoy to Kenya Jutta Frasch has said Kenya must combat terrorism within the confines of the law and respect human life. Speaking while on a tour to old town in Mombasa,  Frasch said terrorism had proved a global challenge and her country had committed to helping Kenya fight the vice though within the law
