The government has drafted framework that will see the private sector take part in infrastructure development.
Roads principal secretary engineer John Mosonik said today that the policy paper is with the cabinet awaiting further evaluation before it’s tabled in parliament by the end of this month.
He said the move is meant to ensure the country has better road infrastructure and that government alone cannot achieve that objective.
The PS who spoke in Kisumu has been touring roads in the Nyanza and Western region for the last five days.
