The driver and turn boy of the lorry were critically injured and were rushed to The Shalom hospital in Athi river.  14 passengers and the driver of the bus that was ferrying workers of a flower farm have been admitted to the Machakos sub-county hospital.  Witnesses say the lorry driver was evading a motorcycle when his vehicle collided with the bus.
