A section of Ukambani politicians allied to Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka have downplayed any effect of defectors in their party. The leaders are  calling for directions to be given regarding the fate of defetors who are jumping out of the vehicle that sponsored them to power. Lead by Wiper national deputy vice chairman and Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo jr, they said the defectors have violated the constitution and should leave the party as as soon as possible.
