News Desk: Family in Naivasha loses property in land row,9/23/2016

A family in Naivasha is counting losses worth millions after their  property was destroyed over a land dispute  at the Munyaka farm .the farm is one of the leading dairy cattle producers in the region but is ownership has been controversial. Hired goons accompanied by senior police officers reportedly invaded the farm in the wee hours of the morning and began destroying high level dairy equipment and several structures. According to the farm owner Beth Wanjiku, several groups of people had been visiting the farm with documents claiming ownership. The latest being a leading investor from Nairobi who tilled land he claimed he had bought. Naivasha OCPD Titus Munyoki and area DCIO Martin Mbaya were present at the time of the destruction.
